Rainy day, working in my studio

I have always loved pearls, but I have always insisted on using real pearls. Tuesday, at the bead store I could not resist these Swarovski pearls. They are perfectly round and have great colors. Plus they look great and I can sell them at a lower price than real pearls.

Made some charms. I love the sterling silver one with rosé gold filled beads!

Working hard in the studio

On this cold day in nashville, I am creating some new items in the studio. Working on gold, rose gold and sterling earrings. Maybe piece will have a touch of topaz or sapphire. I will update when they are available for sale.

Hand crafted in my studio out of sterling silver, rose gold filled wire. Finished with a Rosé gold filled chain.

Oh juice, how I missed you!

So I am back to juicing after being a very bad girl. I felt great yesterday with a nice juice fast ;)

Juicing along with exercise improves my mood and makes me feel great! Hope you juice too and enjoy the love of veggies and fruit.

I use the breville elite, but I really need another one specifically designed for greens to improve their volume.

My new favorite recipes:
Celery, cucumber, red and green apples
Spinach, kale, parsley, lemon and ginger.

Red apple, carrot, beet, lemon and ginger.

I am still tweaking to perfect these. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Hiking with the family

Our girl Stella the Airedale has been stuck in a tiny condo while waiting the building of our new house, so we took her for a much needed hike.

We had a great time at Montgery Bell State park about 45 minutes from our home in Nashville, TN. The hubby; Thomas, and his girl looked so happy and relaxed. Put a smile on my face! I love our family :)

Oh Christmas tree how I am not excited about you

I do not have the Christmas spirit! The crowds give me anxiety and I am put off by the over zealous sales people. This is very depressing from someone who adores shopping.

I love to give gifts, but this year it seems like a chore. I bought my loving husband a sweater, I am sooo romantic! I order my parents random stuff via the internet. The only present I bought in person was a chess set for my cutie French chess partner.

I am off tonight to meet my best friend from college and visit our old school for an alumni Christmas event-maybe that will change my spirit!
